Lucy Easton
The main element of Lucy's jewellery pieces is the desire to create contemporary designs with a sense of movement, depth and repetition, using a contrast of gold plating on silver, a mixture of solid gold and silver, or oxidising the silver black.
In the necklaces and bracelets Lucy produces, she strives to find different ways of creating fixings and links so that they become an integral part of the design.
The source of Lucy's work was first inspired from foreign travel observing architectural features. As Lucy continues to develop new ideas she often draws on her immediate environment looking at every day repeated shapes and forms such as brick work, road markings, tower blocks etc.
