John Colliety
John Colliety studied paper conservation at Camberwell School of Art from 1978 to 1981. He is a familiar face around Saffron Walden having worked as a postman for 20 years, which not only gives him time to devote to his printmaking, but also means he spends a great deal of time outdoors, in the East Anglian landscapes that he captures so well in his work.
All of John's work is linocut. He was inspired initially by the linocuts of Edward Bawden, with their nostalgic 'fifties' feel.
Church Street Gallery stocks a good range of John's very-limited edition signed prints.
